  1. 1993 IMAGE CONTEST WINNER
  2. ARCHITECTURE, ENGINEERING, & CONSTRUCTION CATEGORY

  4. This is the proposed New England Medical Center Atrium designed by
  5. Shepley, Bulfinch, Richardson & Abbott in Boston, MA.  The solid
  6. modeled ARRIS M&R was brought into ARRIS INTEGRA - lights were placed
  7. with required jarameter - materials were assigned to different
  8. entities in the model and so were texture maps and bump maps.  It was
  9. required in Super Mode - full prot with anti-aliasing, transparency,
  10. specularity & other properties using A-Integras bi-directional
  11. ray-tracing algorithm.  The edits of the rendering are clearly
  12. visible in the (stair-railing) glass looking down at the fountain and
  13. also in the reflection of the scene in the large window glass.
